GIBRALTAR, JANUARY 31, NOYAN TAPAN. In the International Chess Tournament being held in Gibraltar Tigran L. Petrosian and American-based Varuzhan Hakobian gained six out of nine possible points each and share the 17-33rd places. Bu Syan Chzhi (China) and Zakhar Yefimenko (Ukraine) are at the top of the tournament table with 7.5 points each. The games of the last, 10th tour are scheduled for January 31.
