Gibrahayer e-magazine - Nicosia 26 May - Turkish-Cypriot newspaper §Sabah¦ published an article under the title §The alliance of Armenians - Greek-Cypriots presents an obstacle in OSCE¦. According to the article, the ongoing competition for the post of the Secretary General of OSCE led to an alliance against Turkey by Armenians and Greek-Cypriots. As the article says, when Armenia and the §Greek-Cypriot sector¦ said they will exercise veto against Ersin Ercin, for whom Turkey has been exercising backstairs- influence for over a year and a half, Ankara hardened its position. Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoglu implied that Turkey may use the veto card and stressed that Turkey will observe developments and accordingly will decide its position.
