YEREVAN'S MIKA TAKES 3rd PLACE IN CLUB TEAMS' EUROPE CHESS

ANTALIA, OCTOBER 10, NOYAN TAPAN. Women's and men's club
teams' Europe Chess Championships finished on October 9 in
Antalia.
In the last, 7th tour Yerevan's Mika defeated Tbilisi's
Interplast with the score of 3 to 1 and took the third place
with 10 points. And Monaco's Monte Carlo achieved the title of
the champion with 11 points.
In men's tournament Yerevan's Bank King drew the game with
Belarusian Veshnyanka Gran club with the score of 3 to 3 in the
7th tour, gained 9 points and took the 11th place.
Among Armenian chess players Gabriel Sargsian became Europe
champion in the staff of Spanish Linex Magic club, and Vladimir
Hakobian vice-champion in the staff of Russian Ural.
