MORE THAN 200 UNIQUE EXHIBITS PRESENTED IN LOUVRE TO BE
SHOWN IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN, JULY 19, NOYAN TAPAN. More than 200 unique
exhibits provided by the treasury of the Mother See of Holy
Etchmiadzin, the Armenian History Museum, and M. Mashtots
Matenadaran, as well as more than twenty khachkars
(cross-stones), after the exhibition under the title "Saint
Armenia" held in Louvre, will be also shown in Armenia from
August 25 to October 25. As Noyan Tapan correspondent was
informed by Gagik Gyurjian, the RA Deputy Minister of Culture,
they have made an arrangement with the management of the Louvre
Museum to organize the Yerevan exhibition with the same
exhibits' subject departments. The Deputy Minister said that
they are also undertaking measures to bring the two Gospels kept
on St. Lazar island and shown in Louvre, to Armenia and to
present them to the Armenian public.
