On July 13, the committee of foreign relations of US Senate will discuss the issue of appointing John Heffern to the post of US Ambassador to Armenia. This is reported by “Asbarez”. The ANCA Executive Director Aram Hambaryan expressed hope that the Senators will get a clarification on the position of Obama’s administration to a number of foreign political issues related to the South Caucasus region, including the recognition of the Armenian Genoside and the settlement of Karabakh conflict.
