The US President Barack Obama has said that pensions may not be paid in the US in August unless the Whtie House and Congress reach agreement on raising the state debt ceiling. Obama says that the Treasury may not have enough money to pay pensioners, disabled servicemen and war veterans. "If we don't solve this problem, I can't ensure that the checks will be signed on August 3."
