YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenia is in first place among CIS countries and in 32nd place in the world by its economic freedom index. According to Radio Liberty, this is indicated in "2007 Economic Freedom Index" published by Heritage Foundation organization. Georgia is close to Armenia - it is in 35th place among 161 countries and Azerbaijan is in 107th place. Hong Kong has the freest economy in the world, while Iraq is in last place.
