YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. 63.1% of the 11 thousand 830 transactions of real estate sales-purchases in Yerevan were transactions on sale of apartments in residential buildings. According to the RA National Statistical Service, the number of sales-purchases of residential buildings' apartments in Yerevan grew by 10.5% in January-September 2006 on the same months of the previous year. The average market prices of one square meter of residential buildings' apartments in Yerevan increased by 29.9% in January-September 2006 on January-September 2005. 4,065 apartments of residential buildings were sold in Armenian marzes in January-September 2006, which is more by 11.4% than in he same months of 2005. The average market prices of one square meter of residential buildings' apartments increased by 42.1% in the Armenian cities, except Yerevan, in January-September 2006 on the same period of 2005. In January-September 2006, 3,925 transcations on sale-purchase of residential houses (detached houses) were registered in the country, including 933 transactions in Yerevan, and 2,992 ones in marzes. The number of sales-purchases of residential houses grew by 9.8% in the period under review on January-September 2005 (the number of sales-purchases declined by 2.8% in Yerevan anf increased by 14.5% in marzes). The average market prices of one square meter of residential houses in Yerevan (including the price of a land plot adjacent to the house) grew by 25.9% in January-September 2006 on the same months of 2005. The average market prices of one square meter of residential houses (including the price of a land plot adjacent to the house) in Armenian cities, except Yerevan, grew by 37.6% in January-September 2006 on the same period of the previous year.
