YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, NOYAN TAPAN. The Yerevan Brandy Factory fixed in Armenia the greatest volumes of production, sale and export of brandy, correspondingly, 4 mln 604 thousand litres, 49.9% and 46.4% in 2005. Based on these data, the RA Commission on Protection of Economic Competition recognized at the November 8 sitting the YBF as one having prevailing position. It was mentioned at the sitting that according to the information submitted by 37 economy entities functioning in the market, 10 mln 101 thousand litre of brandy was produced, 9.24 mln litre was exported and 9 thousand 93.2 litre was imported in Armenia the last year. In total, 1.3 mln litre of brandy was sold, among which the share of brandy of local production made 99.36%.
