YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, NOYAN TAPAN. The Association "For Sustainable Human Development" has been granted a special advisory status of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). According to a press release submitted to NT, ECOSOC is a central body coordinating the economic and social activities of all UN structures. It is noted in the press release that Association "For Sustainable Human Development' is the first non-governmental organization to be granted such a high status. From now on it has the right to attend ECOSOC meetings and express its written opinions about issues discussed among official delegates. The association shall have its representatives in New York head office and offices in Geneva and Vienna.
