ETCHMIADZIN, SEPTEMBER 27, NOYAN TAPAN. The 6th assembly of the European Christian Environmental Network which is entitled "Living in a new energy era" is being held in the city of Flamslatt, Sweden, from September 27 to October 1. The assembly will mainly touch upon problems connected with environment and issues of cooperation of churches and states in that sphere. Under the supreme authority of Karekin II Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Archimandrite Fr. Mkrtich Proshian, the Dean of the Vaskenian Seminary of Sevan represents the Armenian Apostolic Church in that assembly. As Noyan Tapan was informed by the Interchurch Relations Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the 4th annual session of the World Public Forum "Dialogue of Civilizations" is being held in Rhodes on the same days. It is dedicated to the theme "Dialogue of Religions in the Interest of Society." Archbishop Fr.Yeznik Petrosian, a representative of the Interchurch Relations Department participates in the World Public Forum as a representative of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
