GUANGZHOU, SEPTEMBER 25, NOYAN TAPAN. The World
Championship of Greco-Roman Wrestling started in the city of
Guangzhou, China, on September 25. Representatives of 3 weight
categories struggled on the first day. Representatives of
Armenia Roman Amoyan (55 kg), Karen Mnatsakanian (60 kg) and
Artak Haroutiunian (66 kg) failed and remained out of the future
struggle.
Armen Nazarian, the first champion of Olympic Games of
independent Armenia who performs at present under the flag of
Bulgaria, also failed.
Movses Karapetian (74 kg) and heavy-weight category
sportsman Yuri Patriliyev will perform on September 26.
