HERZEG NOVI, SEPTEMBER 20, NOYAN TAPAN. Chess Europe Youth Championship finished on September 19 in Herzeg Novi. In the last, 9th tour, 6 out of 17 representatives of Armenia won, 6 were defeated, 5 ended their games in a draw. In the total calculation, Zaven Andreasian (18 years old) took the 2nd place gaining 6.5 out of 9 possible points among 74 participants. Samvel Ter-Sahakian (14 years old, 6.5 out of 9 possible points) was the 6th among 80 participants. Susanna Gaboyan took the 7th place in the competition of 64 10-year-old participants gaining 6.5 out of 9 possible points.
