KAPAN, AUGSUT 21, NOYAN TAPAN. About 387 mln drams (about 920 thousand U.S. dollars) were allocated from the state budget this year for fundamental repair of 5 schools of the marz of Syunik. Rural schools of Akhlatian, Khot, Shaki, Karahunj and school No13 of the city of Kapan are to be repaired with that money. Works of findamental repair started in Kapan school No13, Khot and Shaki schools will finish till late this year. As Myudvig Haroutyunian, the Chief of the Education, Culture and Sports Department of the Syunik Regional Governor's Office informed the Noyan Tapan correspondent, the most part of those schools has not been fundamentally repaired during the recent 10 years. Roofs, sanitary junctions of the buildings are mainly being changed, works of inner decoration are being done. And local heating net will also be built in Karahunj school. It was also mentioned that construction works will be organized in the way that they do not hinder the normal way of the coming academic year.
