DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR BAN ON TRANSPORTING CARS
WITHOUT NEUTRALIZER THROUGH ARMENIAN CUSTOMS BORDER

YEREVAN, JUNE 22, NOYAN TAPAN. At the June 22
sitting, the Armenian government made an amendment to
the decision No.220 of March 3, 2005 on making an
addition to the RA government's decision No.902 of
December 31, 2000. Based on it, the deadline for the
ban on transportation of cars without neutralizers of
dangerous emissions through the customs border of
Armenia has been extended from July 1, 2006 to January
1, 2007. According to a press release of the RA
Government Information and PR Department, the decision
was made with the aim of solving the problem of
regular cargo transportation by means of transport
registered in other states.
