YEREVAN, JANUARY 25, NOYAN TAPAN. The 3 rooms of the building given to the Center for Social Assistance to Homeless People have been repaired for the purpose of rendering assistance to people in hard life conditions. As of January 24, 10 people were sheltered there. Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed about it at the Disabled and Old People's Problems Department of RA Ministry of Labor and Social Issues. They will live at the center for 2 months, will get a medical-psychological aid, will be free of charge given food. After some judicial, document and a number of other social issues are cleared up, they will be admitted to different state tutorial institutions. It's envisaged to allocate 87 mln drams (nearly 193 thousand USD) from the 2006 state budget for the purpose of establishing the center. The center will completely operate since early 2007.
