BEIJING, DECEMBER 25, NOYAN TAPAN. Sun Jiazheng, the Minister of Culture of China, on December 24, received a delegation led by Hasmik Poghosian, the RA Minister of Culture, which is in China for the purpose of taking part in the Days of Armenian Culture. Vahagn Movsisian, the Ambassador of Armenia to China, and Hranush Hakobian, the Chairwoman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Culture, Education, and Sport Affairs, participated in the meeting on the part of Armenia. As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA Foreign Ministry Press and Information Department, agreements on implementation of joint programs between the two countries' institutions of museum, library, national instruments, cinema, theater spheres, and other spheres of art were reached during the meeting. It was mentioned that Chinese cultural events will be held in Armenia next year. The opening of the personal exhibition of Karen Aghamian, the Chairman of the Union of Painters of Armenia, took place on December 25 at Beijing Library and the gala concert of Armenian performers announcing the opening of the Days of Armenian Culture in China took place in the evening.
