YEREVAN, November 29 (Noyan Tapan). In January 2005 the first republican festival of choreography will be held upon the initiative of the Stability union of NGOs. Sargis Haroutiunian, member of presidency of the Stability union, declared during the November 29 press conference that the goal of the festival is to unite regional and Yerevan choreography into a pan-republican cultural net. According to him, dance ensembles of Yerevan and RA regions will perform at the festival that will be held in January in the sport and cultural complex after K.Demirchian. The famous figures of Armenian choreography will be among the judges. According to the organizers, the competition won't have genre and age limitations. The winners of the festival will receive gold medals. 137 Yerevan and regional cultural and civil NGOs were included into the union established in July 2004. Their joint work will be aimed at decentralization of cultural policy and search of new ways of developoment of cultural life in the regions.
