The events dedicated to the 30th death anniversary of the great writer William Saroyan are organized by the Armenian Embassy in Athens, American-Greek Union and the center of Armenian-Greek researches. On June 6 an event was organized at the theatre hall of Armenian-Greek Union in Athens, where W. Saroyan was presented in the context of his colours. Giving explanation on Saroyan’s colours, Armenian-Greek social figure, writer, the director of the center of Armenian-Greek researches Hovsep Qaseyan opened the event and presented the speaker. Then the painter, lecturer of Aristoteles University in Salonika Dmitri Zurudis spoke during the event. He made parallels between Saroyan’s’ writings and colours , presented the great writer William Saroyan to the Greek public in the context of his colours.
