Probably, the new elections to the vacant post of secretary of Union of Writers of Armenia will not be held, since the 14th assembly of the Union will take place in May, 2005. The new elections are not appropriate for such a short period, Levon Ananian, President of the Union, told NT. At the same time he noted that the problem has not been discussed by the Union board yet. It should be noted that Hovik Hoveyan, Former Secretary of the Union, was appointed RA Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs.
