Karel Schwarzenberg especially attached importance to the perspectives of cooperation in the fields of culture and may be also nuclear energy. With the request of the Czech Foreign Minister, Ambassador Seyranyan presented Armenia's approaches towards the recent developments in the region. They also touched upon the negotiations process of the Karabakh conflict, particularly the Kazan meeting, which failed to make a breakthrough because Azerbaijan was not ready to accept the final version of the basic principles offered by the co-chairs.
