TEHRAN, 22 JUNE, NOYAN TAPAN: Renowned Turkish writer, intellectual, historian, Professor at US “Clark” University Taner Akcham is in Tehran at the invitation of the commission commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Great Armenian Genocide formed by the Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran. According to “Arax” weekly, T. Akcham will give a press conference on June 23 and the premiere of the Persian translation of his book “A Shameful act” will be held at the hall of “Armenian Club” in the evening of that same day. Attending the events will be professors from Iranian universities, Iranian intellectuals, as well as representatives of Armenian unions and organizations.
