KIEV, 26 MAY, NOYAN TAPAN: On May 26, Armenia’s newly appointed Ambassador to Ukraine Andranik Manukyan handed his credentials to President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich. During the talks that followed, the parties discussed issues related to Armenian-Ukrainian relations. The willingness of the presidents to build relations at a new qualitative level and expansion of mutually beneficial multifaceted cooperation were mentioned. The parties attached special importance to the ongoing working relations and mutual visits between different wings of the political elites. As reported by the department of media and information of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, great importance was attached to the development of bilateral trade and economic relations, the sharp rise of circulation of products and the more effective and purposeful use of existing opportunities.
