The secretary of National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan received the delegation headed by the commissioner for expansion and European neighborhood policy of the EU Shtefan Fyuler. The head of EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Raul de Lyutzemberger was also present at the meeting. Arthur Baghdasaryan addressed the process of programs carried out during the cooperation between Armenia and the EU, separating the reforms carried out in the systems of human rights, democracy and policy and in the fields of freedom, justice and security. Arthur Baghdasaryan expressed satisfaction with the process of negotiations on association agreement noting the importance of making the cooperation public. Stefan Fyuler also mentioned the importance of cooperation between Armenia and the EU noting that policy coordination is important circumstance for carrying out the program of European neighborhood policy. He expressed his willingness to support the reforms mentioned above as they are in some directions consistent with the philosophy of European neighborhood policy.
