Working space for one of Sevan Startup Summit 2017 participants

Sevan Startup Summit is now cooperating with Coworking Armenia. Coworking is a shared working space, equipped with the necessary equipment, which is designed for a simultaneous use by multiple people. The company will provide free working space for 3 months to one of the startups. The winner will be defined by the company representatives. As most of the business stage startups have office spaces, the prize is defined for the startup of seed stage or early stage.
Arsen Harutyunyan, marketing manager at Coworking Armenia, said:
-Many startups, that have a good team and a good idea, but don’t have enough finances, are not able to cover their operational expenses. We think that providing a working space to the startup will help them to be more productive.
There will be more than 20 prizes this year, including a special reward of Coworking Armenia. The prize fund is $40,000 and more than $200,000 investment is expected to be done from investors invited both from Armenia and abroad. This kind of contributions will help Armenian startups to level up and reach new markets.
To recall, Sevan Startup Summit will be held from 24th to 31st of July. Top 70 startups and 30 software developer teams will be selected from 309 applications after the interviews. The number of applying people reached up to 3000, of which only 1000 will become participants of the Summit. The names of the participants will be published in the first week of July.
