YEREVAN, JUNE 10, NOYAN TAPAN. The working group on development of the radioactive waste management strategy on June 10 held its first sitting conducted by Secretary of the RA National Security Council, Chairman of the Interdeparmental Commission on Coordination of Armenia's Cooperation with European Structures Arthur Baghdasarian. According to the press service of the National Security Council, the representatives of the departments included in the workng group discussed issues related to the development of the national strategy. A. Baghdasarian proposed organizing discussions with the participation of European experts with the aim of examining effectively the experience of EU member states. A decision was made to submit the conceptual provisions of the national strategy on radioactive waste management for discussion in late September.
