On 13 April President Bako Sahakyan sent a condolence letter to President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Loukashenko in connection with the terrorist act at the Minsk metro station “Oktyabrskaya”. The letter runs as follows: "Your Excellency, On behalf of the people, authorities of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic and myself I express deep condolences and support to You and the fraternal people of Belarus in connection with the treacherous terrorist act at the Minsk metro station “Oktyabrskaya” claimed dozens of innocent lives. In the hour of nationwide grief we share with You all the bitterness of the bereavement and wish tenacity and courage to the relatives and friends of the deceased."
