The quarter final fights of sportsmen in 48 kg weight category took place on November 11. Representative of Armenia Hovhannes Danielian (Yerevan) beat Daran Lengle (England) with the score of 7 to 3, passed to the final and ensured at least a bronze medal for himself. Edward Hambartsumian (64 kg, Yerevan), Andranik Hakobian (75 kg, Etchmiadzin), and Tsolak Ananikian (91 kg, Yerevan) continue competing for passing to the final from Armenia.
