In order to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) and the events organized within its framework, the construction of the new type modular "Noragyugh" 35/6 kV substation in Yerevan is nearing completion. All equipment and material-technical products intended for the construction of the new substation, which meets modern standards, have been imported from abroad.
The program also includes the creation of 5 new low-voltage substations with a capacity of 5000 kVA, three of which are already ready for operation. The constructed substation will also contribute to a significant improvement in the quality of electricity supplied to the residents of the Central administrative district. It is also planned to provide electricity supply to the Noragyugh neighborhood, which is planned in the upcoming construction projects of Yerevan, from the "Noragyugh" substation, where currently there is no energy infrastructure necessary for electricity supply.
