YEREVAN, MAY 22, NOYAN TAPAN. The USAID program on commercialization of energy efficiency projects jointy with Ardshininvestbank organized a discussion "First Steps to Energy Efficiency Financing" on May 22. The purpose of the program on energy efficiency projects commercialization to be implemented with Ardshininvestbenk is to develop energy efficiency financing in Armenia through the use of target credit programs and possible financial instruments. According to the chairman of the bank's board Aram Andreasian, the use of an energy efficiency mode in any sector is more than urgent and under conditions of a rise in prices of power-bearing substances, an inefficient use of energy would mean a waste. It was mentioned that the aim of the discussion is to present the importance of energy efficiency technologies and their environmental protection benefits to the bank's customers, including a number of big enterprises providing industrial and public services.
