In the first term of the year 283,100 passengers used South Caucasus Railway. This result is less by 29,4 percent compared to the results within the same period. The reduction of passengers of the SCR is conditioned by the decrease of passengers by 30,9 percent in the shuttle communication. 270000 passengers were transferred by the shuttle communication in the first term of 2011 which is by 29,2 percent less compared to the index expected during January-June months. The main reason of the reduction of volumes of transportation of passengers in the shuttle communication is the elimination of the two Clock train in the direction of Ararat and Armavir at the beginning of the year. Now the work of the Clock trains will start again by the request of the leaders of the communities. This will have positive influence on the dynamics of transportation of passengers of the SCR.
