ACROPOLIS, AUGUST 22, NOYAN TAPAN. The men and women international traditional chess tournaments finished at the same time in the city of Acropolis, Greece, on August 21. Armenian grand masters Elina Danielian and Tigran Kotanjian were among the participants. In the women's tournament, E.Danielian got 6.5 points from 9 possible ones and took the 2nd horizontal. Salome Melia (Georgia) was recognized the winner with 7 points, and Marina Makropoulou (Greece) took the 3rd place with 6 points. In the men's tournament, Tamaz Gelashvili, the representative of Georgia was again the first. He got 7 points. T.Kotanjian shared the 6th-11th places with a group of rivals.
