On August 11, the RA Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan met General Director of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the Canadian Foreign Ministry John Kerr. According to the department of press, information and public relations of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides reaffirmed favorable basis for friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, attached importance to the promotion of bilateral cooperation, particularly the development of trade-economic relations and cultural ties. In this context the RA Ambassador underlined the expediency of organizing the visit of Canada’s Foreign Minister to Armenia. The RA Ambassador thanked Canadian officials for their attitude towards the Armenian Genocide.
