RA President Serzh Sargsyan and Cyprus President Demetris Christofias attended the official ceremony dedicated to the end of round the world voyage of Armenia sailing vessel. Greeting the crew of Armenia sailing vessel the RA President Serzh Sargsyan noted that the idea of the voyage was carried out with honor by the participants of the expedition during these two years. At the official ceremony dedicated to the end of round the world voyage of Armenia sailing vessel Cyprus President Demetris Christofias greeted the RA President and the participants of the expedition and said, “ Nearly 90 years ago thousands of Armenian came to Cyprus as a result of the Genocide carried out by Ottoman Turkey. The descendants of these migrants are the inseparable part of Cyprus society. Our compatriots Armenians are the important circle of communication between our two countries and they make Armenia the inseparable part for Cyprus people.” The RA President leaves Cyprus for Astana to participate in informal summit of heads of CSTO member countries.
