YEREVAN, May 28 (Noyan Tapan). The "Yerkir Media" TV will start broadcasting on May 28. Executive Director Rubina Ghazarian stated at the May 27 news conference organized on this occasion that the TV company will broadcast for four hours only during the first ten days. There will be an information block, several programs and films. Ghazarian also said the TV company will be unbiased and will have no definite orientation. In particular, according to her, no special political programs are to be broadcast: only information programs will refer to politics. In answer to the reporters' question, Ghazarian stated there are not many representatives of ARF Dashnaktsutyun among the TV company's managers. Those who are ARF members, according to the director, "were not only hired for their party membership," their competence was taken into consideration. Producer General Aram Mnatsakanian added "there are as many members of different parties in their TV company as in other mass media." A. Mnatsakanian also said their company will be pleased to cooperate with any other mass media if any of them makes such an offer: "We just need to sit and discuss it to find common grounds for cooperation." R. Ghazarian said none of the thirteen shareholders of the company has enough shares to dictate his will. She gave assurances that Yerkir Media will not have any financial difficulties, that is why no problem of selling it will ever arise.
