A series of events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Armenia in Yerevan and the regions.

To properly organize the events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Armenia, the executive has made a decision. According to the justification, a series of events dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia is planned to be held in September on the occasion of the anniversary. The aim of the events is to properly value and publicize the 35-year journey of Armenia's independence, emphasize the importance of the achievements of independent statehood, and present high-value cultural events to the public. For this purpose, a series of cultural and concert events are planned to be held in Yerevan and the regions by the "Hovhannes Tumanyan National Puppet Theater," the "Armenian State Symphony Orchestra," the "Armenian Jazz Band," and the "Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra," as well as by "BeGround Production" LLC. The events will address the historical significance of Armenia's independence, the 35-year path of independent Armenia, the recorded achievements and development prospects, as well as emphasize the importance of preserving, strengthening, and further developing statehood.

 

In particular, on September 19, a concert titled "Independence Day in Kapan" will be organized, featuring the musical groups "Lav Eli," "Reincarnation," and "Nemra." On September 18, a "Symphonic Rock" concert will be held in Vanadzor, with the participation of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Gianluca Marciano. A concert titled "Symphony of Independence" will take place in Gyumri, and in Ijevan, a concert called "Rhythm of Independence in Ijevan" will be held. The implementation of the project "Open-air festive concert dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia's independence in Republic Square" will consist of two main parts: a historical-cultural presentation and a concert program dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the Republic of Armenia. The historical-cultural presentation is based on the concept inspired by the motifs of the fairy tale and legend "Hazaran Blbul." The concert program will feature recognized and beloved artists of Armenia, musical groups, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, and the Armenian National Academic Choir named after Hovhannes Chekidjian, including performances by Tata Simonyan, Arman Hovhannisyan, Iveta Mukuchyan, Liparit Avetisyan, Gevorg Hakobyan, Aram MP3, "Karen-Sevak Band," and other performers.

 

Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the necessity of ensuring broad awareness regarding the events so that people can participate in the events held in different regions, which will also contribute to the recognition of the country. "There are people who have not been to many places, which is also related to the perception of the state and the ideology of Real Armenia, because if a person has not actually seen their country... This is a very important change in perception, and we need to encourage that," said the head of state, adding that opportunities are also created to provide additional motivation for people in this regard.
