YEREVAN, MAY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. 22 state institutions of higher education acted in Armenia in the 2005-2006 academic year where 73716 students studied, 53847 of who studied at the paid system, 19869 at the free system. According to data of the RA National Statistical Service, 67 non-state institutions of higher education also acted in the country during the same academic year where the number of students made 24049 people. 24655 people entered, 13296 people graduated from the 89 state and non-state institutions of higher education in the mentioned academic year. 86.5% of 889 students of state institutions of higher education who needs students hall of residence are provided with it, and no one of 13 such students of non-state institutions of higher education are provided with students hall residence.
