Dear representatives of the national minorities of the Republic of Armenia,
I congratulate you all on the occasion of National Minorities Day.
This day holds significant symbolic meaning for the Republic of Armenia. It is yet another opportunity to emphasize that the cultural and national diversity of our country is one of its important values, enshrined in our shared citizenship. Representatives of various nationalities in the Republic of Armenia have become one people—the people of the Republic of Armenia—through Armenian citizenship.
The Republic of Armenia is committed to ensuring the protection of the rights and freedoms of every citizen, including the right to preserve and develop national identity, native language, culture, traditions, and religious characteristics.
The national minorities of our country have contributed to the shaping of Armenia's history, culture, and social life for centuries. Today, they continue to actively participate in the social, economic, educational, cultural, and community life of the Republic of Armenia, enriching the character of our society.
Respect for diversity, ensuring equal opportunities, mutual trust, and tolerance are essential pillars of a democratic society. Therefore, consistent work towards the protection of the rights of national minorities and ensuring their full participation is one of the important priorities of our state.
We will continue to promote the formation of a society where every individual has the opportunity to freely preserve and develop their national and cultural identity while fully participating in shaping the future of the Republic of Armenia.
On this important day, I wish peace, prosperity, success, and new achievements to the representatives of the national minorities of the Republic of Armenia.
May the diversity of our country continue to serve as a strong foundation for mutual respect, solidarity, and unity.
I congratulate us all on the occasion of National Minorities Day.
